On-Campus Employment:
During the academic term, students can engage in on-campus work for up to 20 hours per week.
During holidays, full-time on-campus work, up to 40 hours per week, is permitted.
Positions Available Include:
- Teaching Assistantships
- Research Assistantships
- Fellowships
- Hourly Employment in areas like Food Services, Library, Event Coordination, Laboratory Assistance, and more.
Optional Practical Training (OPT):
- Students who are enrolled full-time and have completed at least one full academic year are eligible for OPT.
- F-1 visa holders can apply for a 12-month OPT, with the possibility of a 24-month extension if they have a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
Curriculum Practical Training (CPT):
- To qualify for CPT, students must have maintained lawful status for 9 months and must currently hold F-1 status.
- CPT can be pursued on either a full-time basis (more than 20 hours per week) or a part-time basis (20 hours or less per week).
